You can but you can run the risk of being caught out and about and being arrested . And have a ban of up to 5 yrs .

Here in Australia we have cars with indicators levers on the left and cars that have them on the right .

Maybe come on a TR visa and then extend 30 says giving you 90 days total for any problems that might arise
