Hi guys .

I have a quick question .

I plan on coming in December/January for 4 weeks on Visa exempt and plan to come for 3 weeks every 10-12 weeks on visa exempt as well until my permanent move in 2.5 yrs when I reach retirement age or get married with my thai girlfriend .. Now would I have any issues you think with IO .

Mind you I've been in July already this yr and was stuck there for 6 months from july last year Because of Australia's ridiculous lockdowns so I've got 2 covid extension ..

Sorry for the long post .

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user plans to visit Thailand for 4 weeks on a visa exemption, followed by recurring visits every 10-12 weeks as they transition towards permanent relocation in 2.5 years. They express concern about possible issues with Immigration Officers (IO) due to past COVID extensions. Comments from the community suggest that as long as the user is returning to their home country and not overstaying, they should not face major issues, especially since their visits are spaced out and genuinely based on personal circumstances.

Your good, don't sweat it.

As long as you are returning to your home country you'll have no problem. Lots of people work 2-3 month shifts, then have a month off, and come to Thailand for that month, with no problems.

I don't think you'll have issues as it's clear you're not doing back-to-back bounces. Coming for three weeks every 2-3 months is not seen as "living in the country". The three covid extensions were genuine, and you left as soon as you could. If for any reason you are questioned just be truthful and say you can't go longer than three months without a shag. They'll understand ๐Ÿ˜†

Normally shouldn't be a problem. But because you have covid extensions it might be.
