Hi everyone!

I have applied for the DTV visa workation from London & received this message today "(- Your recent (balance within last 30 days ) personal UK/Ireland bank statement shows your name, your UK/Ireland address, and a minimum closing balance of 11,000 GBP . Document has to be in full details please. )"

I already provided them a bank statement showing more than 11000 GBP as total balance, the 30 days date, my name & full address. I did hide my total outgoings and total deposits as well as all transactions throughout the month.

What details do you think I should add when reuploading the statement? Thank you in advance!

DTV Visa is very easy to get on your own. Providing you meet the requirements. I do see a lot of people asking about agents that can help. Honestly i would recommend you go to the official Thai government site. Its self explanatory. For those who are unsure here is my breakdown of the pros and cons of using agents.

## Benefits:

1. Expert Knowledge: Agents have extensive knowledge of the DTV visa application process, requirements, and regulations.

2. Time-Saving: Agents handle the paperwork, documentation, and submission process, saving you time and effort.

3. Increased Approval Chances: Agents ensure that your application is complete, accurate, and meets all requirements, increasing the chances of approval.

4. Convenience: Agents often provide additional services, such as document preparation, translation, and certification.

5. Support and Guidance: Agents offer personalized support and guidance throughout the application process.

## Pros:

1. Streamlined Process: Agents know the most efficient way to navigate the application process.

2. Reduced Stress: Agents handle the paperwork and communication with the authorities, reducing your stress levels.

3. Access to Exclusive Services: Some agents may offer additional services, such as airport pickups, accommodation assistance, or travel insurance.

4. Up-to-Date Information: Agents stay informed about changes in regulations, requirements, and procedures.

## Cons:

1. Additional Costs: Using an agent will incur additional fees, which can range from 10,000 to 50,000 THB or more, depending on the agent and services offered.

2. Dependence on the Agent: You may feel reliant on the agent for updates and progress, which can be frustrating if communication is poor.

3. Risk of Unreliable Agents: There is a risk of working with unscrupulous or inexperienced agents who may not provide the best service.

4. Potential for Errors: While agents can minimize errors, there is still a risk of mistakes or omissions in the application process.

## Tips for Choosing an Agent:

1. Research and Reviews: Research the agent's reputation, read reviews, and ask for referrals.

2. Check Credentials: Verify the agent's credentials, licenses, and certifications.

3. Clear Communication: Ensure the agent provides clear, concise, and regular updates on your application status.

4. Transparent Fees: Understand the agent's fees, services, and payment terms.

By weighing the benefits, pros, and cons, you can make an informed decision about whether to use an agent for your DTV visa application.

I hope some people find this helpful.

*90 day report not 90 day visa*

Hello, on dtv visa, leaving the country 91 days after I entered. Do I need to still file my 90 day report before I leave? I know there's a 7 day leeway to file after 90 days but not sure if leaving the country counts. Might file to be safe but anyone know if I have to?

Hello everyone,

How many months of bank statements did you submit with your application? 3 months? 6 months? I’ve had 800k ฿ in my account for the past 4 months, but not 6 months ago. That’s why I’m asking.

I am applying from Germany.

Thanks, everyone!

Hello, I would like to know what is my best option do have a DTV ?

I am 30yo, do not have a work but have ~52 000 baht "income" everymonth.

Should I contact visa agency about my case ? I read many things on internet... dtv visa with muay thai... dtv with cooking lessons... dtv with dental treatment...

I really need a DTV visa because I almost got denied at the border ( too much visa exemption ) and I would like to live at least 50%/50% my country and thailand for my life.

About the other requirement, I have enough in my bank to meet their needs.

Thanks :)

Any complications if you have applied for a DTV nomad visa and you come to Thailand in the meantime on holiday while waiting for approval? When you get approved while inside of Thailand, how it works? Thanks peeps in advance, much appreciated.

Also what if I am not in my country of residence and on business trip in another country ? When I get the DTV , can I just fly direct to Thailand or should I go back to my country first?

Hello,

I’m moving to Thailand to continue my Muay Thai career. I train out of Manop in Chiang Mai (I have trained there previously). I am certain that gym has all of the correct certifications to enable visa sponsorship. However, sponsorship is not advertised and Kru Manop takes cash payment on arrival rather than requiring booking.

After learning more about what is required, I am a little reluctant to trouble kru Manop for all the required documents, though when I asked for his help I offered to pay a fee. Would it be better to simply spend a month at a gym that already understands the visa requirements, even if it’ll cost me more, for the convenience before going to my preferred camp?

Thank you!

Hello everyone, I know this question has been asked plenty of times but my situation doesn’t quite align with the similar ones found in search. I am applying in Ho Chi Minh as a remote worker. The question is the place of issue for the passport, my mexican passport issued in Shanghai has a remark about issuing state code as MEX and just a remark in the right bottom as SHANGHAI. Is it correct to select Shanghai as place of issue even if on the passport there are no exact remarks for this as “place of issue”? Thanks so much in advance
