Hi guys

Which immigration office do I need to go to extend my TR60 visa for extra 30day or if possible get covid 60 ext. Also I've read on here something about going 3 days before expiry due to Covid is this true or it doesn't matter

It's due on the 10th

Thanks guys

Answer summary

The user is seeking information on where to extend their TR60 visa in Thailand, specifically if they can obtain an extra 30 days or a Covid-related extension. They mention their visa is due on the 10th and question whether they should visit the immigration office 3 days before the expiry date. One commenter advises that the main immigration office at the Government Complex on Chaengwattana Road (Counter J) is the correct location to go for an extension, and they confirm the recommendation to visit when there are 3 days or less remaining on the current visa stamp.

If you entered the country on a real tourist visa and were stamped in for 60 days you go to the main immigration office at the government complex out on Chaengwattana Road.

You want counter J. They did put up a notice telling people to show up when they had 3 days or less left on their current stamp

I said "real" tourist visa because most people say they got a "standard tourist visa free entry" 😮 which is total gibberish 😛 They really mean they just showed up here and were stamped in for free for 45 days <- which is NOT a tourist visa but actually called a visa exempt entry.

AND

people who are on that entry stamp do NOT go to Chaengwattana immigration office for their extensions
