Asking for a friend who is visiting me in Thailand soon.

1. Are yellow fever cards requested by Thai authorities for travellers coming from Africa? Her whole family is vaccinated but one physical card has been lost. She has an electronic scan of it and we are wondering if this will be enough?

2. Do travellers coming from Africa, but transiting in Doha, need to pass by a special control or separate queue at BKK?

For those on DTV, And travelling from Nigeria to Bangkok, when filling the Thailand arrival form, was it compulsory to have the yellow fever vaccination?

I've noticed on the new TDAC form that starts on the 1st May 2025 there is a question asking about 'yellow fever' vaccination certificate.

There is an asterisk sign (*) which means that question MUST be answered.

What I need to know is: if you answer 'NO' meaning you don't have a yellow fever vaccination does the next question go away?!

The next question is the date of the vaccination, which also has an asterisk (*)

I'm guessing we won't know until this procedure starts on May 1st.

TDAC (Thailand Digital Arrival Card) **

It would appear that the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (the system that replaces the old TM6 paper arrival/departure cards) has an operational website..

It would also appear in the user manual that this is for EVERY foreign traveler who enters thailand by air or land.

Other than the earlier announcement saying it would start May 1 there has been no update

Just wanted people to know it appears to be 'up and running' 🙂

I am NOT telling people to start using it, just that it would appear it's actually going to roll out (hopefully when they say May 1)
