Hi, my tourist visa expires on the 15th but on the 16th I got a flight at 1am and therefore go through immigration late on the 15th. What’s your experience / advice regarding extending it or not?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The consensus among users is that as long as you pass through immigration before midnight on the 15th, you should not face any issues. Experiences shared indicate that late-night flights after the visa expiration date are generally permissible if you leave the country before the next day begins. However, it is advised to pass through immigration earlier, potentially around 10 PM, to avoid potential complications.
There is nothing to your question. You have answered your own question.
Immigration stamp you out the country on the 15th and you fly the 16th.
Do you think you need a visa after you have entered airside? Your in no mans land which means your neither in nor out of a country. This is the same all over the world.
Last year I had a forced flight change and I was 24 hours overstay. No fine or problem, they gave me a 24 hours stamp and was allowed to leave without problem.
