There's got to be someone soon to say they've been in and out of Thailand over the past 36 years and never been asked.

I'll have a go. I feel a blog post coming up.

METV stands for multiple entry tourist visa.

Every entry is 60 days and each entry is extendable by 30 days for 1900thb. Used wisely you can just about squeeze 270 days out of it.

Setv is single entry tourist visa you get 90 days to activate it and you get 60 days upon entry extendable once for 30 days1900 thb.

Non o ( other) have several permutations, over 50 ( retirement) marriage to Thai national. Looking after Thai child and others.

@Rajiv ******
that's not correct. If he's on initial 90 days then can stay untill his last day. If he's on an extension then needs to leave bu midnight the day the wp is cancelled. You're confusing this with the extension denied stamp that costs 1900thb. Op will have to apply for an extension that is then denied. You don't get an automatic 7 days to leave.

@Brook *******
it depends if he was on his initial 90 day non b visa or if he's on an extension. If he's on the initial 90 days then he can stay untill the last admitted day . If he's on extension then what you say comes in to force.
