just to get things done quickly, can I get the in-country visa and then go back to immigration in the next day or 2 and extend?

I’d rather just get it over with since all the requirements are covered.

I know it will be seasoned in time I just wondered if there were any rules about how much time needs to be left on current stamp when applying. If there are no rules on that, I should be fine going on the 28th which is the day the stamp expires.

I can’t really remember fully what I needed last time (it was my first extension) I thought there were copies of house books, photos at the house and my wife actually having to be there. I just wanted to do whatever makes it easy for me this week, money seasoned but do not want to do much… selfishly lazy I know but that’s why I asked

Thanks guys. I was really just asking for information on a single extension, I don’t need any more after that. Just didn’t want to have to deal with all the paperwork over the festive period so I will just use my one off ‘visiting family’ extension.
