I need to be out of my rental here in the US by the end of the month and I’m not sure if I will get approved by then. Does anyone know if it is OK to fly to Thailand and arrive on a tourist visa, then exit the country and re-enter to activate my DTV Visa upon reentry? I was able to do this when I traveled to Indonesia with no issues. If its a risk to enter now i will book a flight to Laos or PH. Until i know if i am approved.

If you’re not sure, and just like to hear your own voice, please refrain from making pointless comments about it. (you know who you are) lol.

Yes i know i should have gotten the application submitted sooner. It took longer to complete because of reasons i dont need to explain here.

I currently have a non-O foundation volunteer visa and work permit that I've held for 15+ years. I'm switching to a religious (RA) visa soon. The department of religion said I need to apply for an E-visa and recommended getting it in Penang, Malaysia.

The problem is that I can't apply for an E-visa if I'm in Thailand. What's the process for switching visa types like this?

I see my post was removed. The answer from Tod was great. Not sure why it was removed. I had a follow up question about my wife and son. Do they need to apply separately or is there a place to include them as "followers" on my application?

Is it necessary to "check-in" online at immigration every 3 months with the DTV visa of 180 days? Thanks for your help.

I have 2 questions:

Do I have to show the bank statement for the visa extension every year? Or only with the first application?

Is living in the same household enough to apply as "spouse"? Or do we have to be married?

Thank you! 🙏

Do you need to ask your agent to do TM30 if you were there for a while already but you left Thailand and come back again recently?

Hello. Great service. Thanks. I have an OA visa from my home country. I will be re-entering Thailand about 7 days before expiration. I wanted to confirm that with a new 12 month health insurance certificate they will extend the visa by 12 months at the airport as I re-enter?

Appreciate the help.

Please let me post or kindly advise.

I am Burmese citizen. I got a job that is willing to provide me Non B visa.

But the job want me to come with tourist visa first. I applied tourist visa in Vietnam but got rejected.

My question is can I change to Non B visa if I enter the Thailand with 14 days exempt (Our nationality only got 14 days) with another extension (30 days) ?

I’ve rented a condo in Thailand. Tomorrow, I’ll be flying to Thailand and moving into my new home. I have a DTV visa, and this will be my first entry into the country with it.

1) When should I go to immigration for the TM30?

2) If I need to do it immediately, will spending my first night at a hotel mean I won’t have to file the TM30 for the next 90 days?

3) For the first TM30 application, can I go to the immigration office, then do the renewals online?

Apologies, guys. I’m a bit new to all of this. Hope this thread helps others too.
