Is it possible to get a 30-day extension (without leaving Thailand) for an initial Non-imm O (spouse) visa, in order to buy more time to get other documents ready for the 1-year extension?

Hi there, I wanna confirm that after the 90 days with a non o visa can I get another 60-Day Extension Based on Marriage without the 400.000 requirement (of course I am already married), is it possible? (I meant without leaving Thailand). Thanks

Hi all, I need to extend my stay in Thailand for another month before I have the 400k baht requirement ready for my marriage visa (I held one before). I'm currently on a visa exempt entry.

I'm planning to do the 60-day extension based on visiting family at the I/O at IT Square in Bangkok. I was told that the documents required are (1) House registration from my fiancee. (2) Copy of her ID card. (3) Marriage certificate. (4). T.M.30 and (5) the three forms that can be acquired at the I/O (forgot what they're called).

Assuming above is correct, there are two questions we're currently struggling with. We purchased a condo in Bangkok and my wife's house registration is still in her hometown. First question: am I able to get the extension done in Bangkok despite her house registration being in a different province? Also, I assume a copy of the house registration suffices as we do not hold the original file over here, correct? Second question: is there any example of how this T.M.30 file should look like? At this point we're not even sure if we registered correctly. The site doesn't seem to allow us to look into any registrants that got registered over 15 days ago.

This may vary on which immigration office you go to, but what are the needed documents to apply for a 60 day extension based on visiting family. I am currently on a 90 day Non O visa due to my kid but not sure how long the process will take to get a Kor Ror 11. The 60 day extension would really help matters.

Hi all, currently on a 30 day visa exception and looking to extend to 60 days in Surat Thani. Does anyone know if the date extends from when it is due to expire (6th March) or will they renew from the date you go there and you risk losing days?

Greetings everyone!

I have a question regarding the TM 30 document.

I currently have an ME Non-O visa based on marriage, from the consulate in Savannakhet, which is valid until the end of September next year.

Since my first 90 day stay permit expires at the end of this month, I plan to extend my stay based on visiting a Thai family to get an additional 60 days (I understand that I can do this once during the visa period).

I have a problem with TM 30 because of the landlord. She says she registered me properly when I got back to Bangkok, but now she can't access the site and send me my details to print because it's been more than 7 days.

At my insistence to register me again, she refuses on the pretext that it is illegal and that she is not allowed to do that. She says she called the immigration service on the phone and they confirmed it.

The apartment rental contract I have with her expires at the end of January, but it is in my wife's name.

What are my options and what can I do to successfully extend my stay by 60 days?

Thank you in advance!

Hi there!

My Non O based on Thai wife will expire soon.

Could I apply for the 60 days extension first then for the yearly one?

Thanks!

I screwed up my 60 day tourist visa application and was rejected.

My flight is booked for Oct 19th and return on Jan 18th.

If I applied for another 60 day visa today I most likely won't get it before I land in Thailand.

Should I still apply then fly out and back in? Or apply for a visa on arrival then extend to get the 90 days? Not sure what my options are.

#60DayExtensionVisitThaiWife

FYI - I went to CW this morning to apply for a 60 day extension to a 30 day exempt stamp for the purpose of visiting Thai wife/family.

I had the usual gambit of the docs accompanying the TM7 including copies of passport, arrival stamp, wife ID, tabien baan, marriage certificate (and also a copy of my THB400K fixed deposit as additional supporting ammo).

Anyway, the guy at the front desk in CW insisted that we must go to IT Square instead for such application, because I was stamped into Suvarnabhumi for 30 days rather than 60 days, implying that those who enter on the 30 day visa exempt stamp must go to IT Square for their 60 day extensions irrespective of whether it's to visit Thai family or for tourism. Given the mood he was in at the time we took heed of his instruction and off we went to IT Square.

An hour or so later, all was sorted at IT Square where things seemed to be adequately organised and the staff generally helpful.
