I flew to BKK yesterday. No PCR Test but had to show vaccine certificate

I just kept a photo of the result on my phone. I finally received the notification on Morchana app 8th April (my day 5 was 15 Mar 🙄). I uploaded the photo and the QR code changed from Medium Risk (Orange) to Low Risk (Green). Not had any other response of feedback. Only time I’ve ever been asked to show it was for domestic flights.

I opened an account with SCB in Hua Hin about 12 yrs ago. Opened a 2nd account at same branch 2 yrs ago. They asked if I wanted insurance and I said (politely) no thanks and opened an account no problem. Just had to deposit 1000 THB and show passport and rental agreement.

This is that new form. It was handed out on my flight (Emirates to BKK on 10th Mar) along with the TM6. Agree it’s a bit confusing but simple enough to complete. Had to present at Immigration and again at my Test & Go hotel.

I used Holiday Inn Silom. Sent booking and all required documents by email. They confirmed booking same day. I applied for Thailand Pass that evening and it was approved next day - so I reckon about 36hrs in total.

Yes it’s possible. I’m returning to UK for 2 weeks at the end of this month and all ready have my Thailand Pass for the return trip.

, I didn’t stay in Bangkok but had to return in person to collect the legalised document.

I got married Nov-21. I got the Freedom to Marry paper from Embassy (🇬🇧) in Bangkok and used Siam Legal in Bangkok to translate to Thai and they took it to MFA to get certified/legalised. At the time the MFA were not accepting walk-in document legalisation due to COVID restrictions - I piggy-backed on an existing appointment Siam Legal had booked. Things may have changed now but it’s worthwhile double checking with the MFA before making the trip to Bangkok. If you use a 3rd party to go to the MFA you will need to give them Power of Attorney so they can legally represent you and complete the process. The complete process for me from 🇬🇧 Embassy to having the legalised document in my hands ready to go to Amphur was 5 working days.

As others have said, it really depends on the individual branch.

I opened an account with SCB in Hua Hin about 10yrs ago when on Tourist Visa. Very straight forward, just needed to show certificate of residence from immigration. I opened a 2nd account with SCB earlier this year in Sisaket on OA Visa. Again very straightforward with certificate of residence from immigration.
