I changed from Retirement VISA to DTV (remote worker) and had no problems. I didn’t use an agent as you have to apply online and the process looked simple enough. I applied to Vietnam Embassy (Hanoi). You have to submit evidence that you are outside Thailand at time of application (copy of Thailand exit stamp in my passport was sufficient for me). Process took 5 days from submitting application online and receiving DTV as a PDF in email.

Never heard of that one. I have 2 accounts with SCB, both savings A/C and physical passbooks that I update monthly via ATM. I’ve had my accounts for a few years so it might be that they changed their products.

A Quick Look at their website mentions E-Passbook account - clearly states they don’t issue physical passbooks with this account type. Is that what you have?

It’s hardly a castle Klaus but it is comfortable. You’re welcome to visit anytime. The southern dungeon is normally free this time of year. Whilst the view is not great the host is lovely and the Grey Goose flows freely. 😃

I used Siam Legal on Sukhumvit for translation of Affidavits from UK Embassy. They also handled the legalisation with the MFA. Might not be the cheapest but I got a really good service.
