Can anyone recommend a good document translation service in Bangkok? It's for documents that must go to MFA for legalisation.

TLDR : Answer Summary
For expats needing document translation services in Bangkok, several recommendations include using local translators near the US embassy, with some offering free retranslations for inaccuracies noted by the MFA. Siam Legal on Sukhumvit is praised for handling both translation and MFA legalisation, albeit at a higher cost. Alternatively, Isaan Lawyers is suggested as a more affordable option. Other services like Express Translation and online platforms like Aegis Consultants are also mentioned for certified translations.

have staff there. So much cheaper then siam and others. Hope this helps.
I used Siam Legal on Sukhumvit for translation of Affidavits from UK Embassy. They also handled the legalisation with the MFA. Might not be the cheapest but I got a really good service.
Walk in the front door of MFA and looked confused. A translator agent will approach you and offer to get it translated and mfa approved for you, 24 hour turnover . Prices start at 300b.
Going toward Sukhumvit from the US embassy, on the right hand side, the next commercial building has a translator service on the first floor that lots use, and redoes anything the MFA deems not accurate for free, and they usually find something not accurate with most translations.
thank you. Do you know if they submit to the MFA as well? Apparently the MFA has a daily quota and if the agent can submit it will save me soending days in Bkk.
