Looking for some advice please. would like to bring a Thai national to UK to visit for sometime is this an easy process are there any agents that could assist in the process
Im doing some research regarding the DTV Soft Power and will be preparing to file this week. For context i am in the US, looking for any tips or advice to ensure this goes smoothly. I think i will be using the Tiger Eye gym in bangkok and relying on Siam legal for advice (dont want to get rejected), however siam legal assistance is not needed i could go without.
-Asked for additional documents the very next business day:
1. Proof of ongoing income. I have read other reports of Manila asking for proof of income from other applicants in this group. Note that this is in addition to the 3 months of statements showing 500k baht and that this is for a soft power Muay Thai app, not workcation. The embassy did not specify how much income they were looking for but apparently I met that threshold.
2. Proof of Muay Thai payment beyond the receipt (I provided a credit card statement showing the payment).
3. Thai translation of business registration for Muay Thai school.
-All documents submitted the same day they were requested. My visa agent also prepared a cover letter explaining my source of income.
-Approved after a total of 4 business days. No interview or further questions.
Overall a smooth process. My agent and Muay Thai provider were very helpful and responded quickly to questions and requests for additional documents. I used Siam Legal as the agent and FitFac as the Muay Thai provider for a 9 month course.

I am getting ready to retire to Thailand early next year to live with my long term Thai partner in Phetchabun. We will be living in a house currently owned by her brother and will buy this house in her name as soon as I sell my house in the UK. I will be in Bangkok on holiday shortly and am looking for recommendations for someone there that my partner and I can go and talk to get advice on various issues. They must be able to talk Thai and English for us both to understand what we need to do.
