Hello!

Can someone recommend a place to get an official translation from bank statements and company registration from German into English?

My German Bank and the official place for company registrations cannot help me with that.

I also looked at the Homepage from the German Consulalte but they don't offer this service.

I will apply outside from Germany in a few weeks.

Thanks for your help!

Does the MFA only legalize documents that are translated into Thai? Or do they also legalize English documents?

I need to translate my marriage certificate from Polish to be used for my Non-O dependent visa (foreign spouse working in Thailand). And I'm wondering if it would be best to get it translated directly into Thai instead of English.

Thank you so much!

Hi, we're seeking some answers that we can't find researching on our own. We have Tourist visas and want to apply for Guardian Visa. Our children have 1 year ED visas. The application requires Affidavit with Thai Embassy, we looked into going to US consulate in Thailand, but they do NOT do affidavits anymore. Any advice on where we can go or how we can get one in Thailand that we can use for the visa application? We have our children's original birth certificates and our notarized Marriage License. Any suggestions, advice is much appreciated!

how do I cancel an appointment with the ministry of foreign affairs? I made an appointment for legalizing documents but later decided to go another date. The website keeps saying I have to cancel my previous appointment before making a new one but i don’t see the option anywhere. Thanks

Hello, a question for:

A USA Citizen currently making Documents for their Non B Visa, at their new school in Bangkok.

The last process, before making the Non B is to get the documents legalized and certified at Department of Consular Affairs at Chaeng Watthana. It is 200/400 baht per stamp.

Which documents do they need legalized?

*USA Affidavit?

*Original Transcript?

*Copy of Transcript?

*Passport?

*Police Report?

*USA University Original Bachelor's Degree?

Secondly, do they need these additional forms to do the Legalization process?

*Copy of Passport ID page?

*Copy of Passport Last Stamp page?

*Visa Photo?

The foreign teacher must do, go, and pay for this themself, and must take time off their teaching job to do so. Thank you for your accurate advice.

Hi

This is the reply I received from the Thai Embassy, London. Thought this might be helpful if theres anyone like ourselves who wish to register their UK marriage in Thailand.

They assumed we were changing surnames which we are not. I have uploaded the docs to files section

According to changing surname, it must be submitted the document and done at local district office in Thailand.

Firstly, husband have to bring a copy of his UK passport and the agreement to use surname form to sign it in front of UK solicitor. After that you need to send those two document and UK marriage certificate to be certified by Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO).

Once you receive it back from FCDO, UK marriage certificate and a copy of husband's UK passport have to be translated in Thai.

Our requirement:

1. Legalisation form, see attached file.

2. UK Marriage Certificate and a copy of husband's passport which are certified by Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO)

3. Agreement to use surname form which is certified by FCDO

4. Translation documents in Thai

5. A copy of wife's Thai passport

6. Fee 10 GBP per document (can be paid by debit card/contactless or cash)

For translator, you can contact primeconsularservices@gmail.com

If your just registering your marriage, not changing surnames the process is much easier.

In order to register your marriage certificate in Thailand, your UK marriage certificate has to certified by FCDO and legalised by Royal Thai Embassy in London.

However, you need to translate your marriage certificate into Thai as well before submitting at local district office in Thailand.

"It has to have the Thai Embassy stamp or the Local district office will not register the marriage."

Yours sincerely,

Consular officer

Dear members. I have an appointment at MFA for legalisation of some documents. Will they offer me the translation service at that point? Or do I need to get this done beforehand?

When booking an appointment on the MFA website it offers this option, so I am wondering if anyone has an experience with a company who are able to offer this service? Thanks in advance
