Hi. What's the risk of being denied entry to Thailand? My latest experience: staying in Thailand from July 2024 to June 2025. During this time, I had four border runs and extensions at the immigration office. Previous years involved short visits of two weeks each. I haven't been to Thailand since June, which is nine months. Now I'd like to go for two weeks. I don't have time to apply for a different visa type because I'd like to fly to Thailand tomorrow 😂

Are Swedish Kronas SEK ok as equivalent to 20,000 baht?

Hi, I’m flying to the US from Thailand and want to bring my Thai gf and she’s preparing for the tourist B1 visa. Wanted to hear of any others’ experiences with the visa interview as I’ve heard they’re extremely strict.

We’d be visiting for just 2 weeks.

Some questions:

Is it generally a good or bad look if she’s paying for herself and that she’s traveling with me? Or do they think Thais traveling with boyfriend is risky?

We’re gonna visit and stay at my sisters place in USA. Is having a US connection stronger or weaker?

Any particular red flags they’re looking out for?

Thanks in advance. I’ve heard Thai people get rejected very often so hoping for some advice.

Hi 👋 If I use an agent in Thailand to help me with the immigration process. I am in the United States and plan to apply with a U.S. Thai Embassy.

Is it common to pay the agent all of the money up front and they pay the fees for example: the online application fee, soft power activity fee to the school etc? Or should I pay the fee for soft power business directly and get a letter from them. Then use the agent to help with the online application process.

Has anyone have any experience with using a agent to help them with their DTV?

Thanks!

Hey guys. I can't find definitive answer and it's really annoying as it's nowhere said it can't be done like described below.

Is it okay to go abroad, apply for DTV and come back on visa exemption then wait in Thailand for DTV?

I asked two visa offices and one said "yes, you can come back" and other "no, you must stay abroa until approved". 🫣😅

Hello,

I heard that if you're unlucky, the authorities in Bangkok can check your DTV visa in detail on arrival. Did it happen to anyone?

My friend told me it can be a problem, for example if you did it in Cambodia with the 500k freshly put on your bank account because in Thailand they want you to have the 500k for 6 months. Then they can deny your entry.

It might be a small % chance but according to my friend it can happen.

Does anyone have any info on that?

I have a question if anyone can help. I am an American currently living with my Thai girlfriend here in Thailand. I am trying to figure out how to go about getting her a tourist visa to come with me and visit my family in the US. Someone has said I have to go back to the US and apply there for her to come visit, is that correct? I want to be able to do it here as I am living here. What do I need to do? Thanks, any help is very much appreciated

Have a multiple entry tourist visa and traveling to Thailand on March 19 from USA. I have everything prepared for longstay O-A visa. Is it a sound plan to submit an e-visa longstay O-A application on March 18. I’m not worried about the extra application fee more about will it get processed and could there be any problems entering Thailand on the tourist visa on march 19.

I've read through some recent comments but would like a heads up about obtaining a tourist visa in Vientiane. It would be my 2nd this year plus one visa exempt in between. Previously I had non-b visas apart from 7 months on tourist visas 2017-2018. My question is, can I anticipate any problems gaining this 2nd tourist visa this year?
