Yes but I think BB enthusiastically froze many accounts held by foreigners too 😅

My BB account got unlocked on the 12th day. I opened 2 other new bank accounts to protect myself.

Expect 1-2 weeks. The bank staff told me 7-10 days. But I overheard another staff say 1-2 weeks.

Ah that’s me. On 16 July, BB unlocked my BB app same day after 5pm. But on 19 Aug, BB locked my BB account and app. Went to the BB branch where I first opened the account on 25 Aug to submit my documents again and after 6hrs in the queue, they told me it would unlock in 7-10 days.

I was at Bangkok Bank yesterday at the branch where I opened my account to unlock my account. The bank staff told me to wait 7-10 business days. But I also overheard another bank staff telling another customer 1-2 weeks. Who really knows 🤷🏻‍♂️
