My first 90-day reporting in Bangkok comes next month. Can it be done online or must be at Immigration office for first reporting? Any first timers done online reporting in Bangkok? The date is 26 May 2024 on the paper. Thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
For first-time 90-day reporting in Bangkok, it must be done in person. After the first report, subsequent reports can be completed online. It's advisable to report in person if you're uncertain about online acceptance, especially since some offices may vary in their policies. Additionally, ensure you report within the regulatory timeframe of 14 days before to 7 days after the due date.

If the 90-day report is done online, do you need to print out the receipt to keep it with the passport? I am asking because I don't have a printer. TIA.

yes that’s what I’m told too. I will give it a try online first since some first timers have done their reporting online successfully but I’m unsure if the same applies in Bangkok Immigration only….

as long as your address matches the current TM30 address on file it should work filing online, even the first time. People have problems when the two addresses don't match, or there is no TM30 on file, that happens lots of times with Airbnb rentals.

Some offices will accept it and some won't. You have from 14 days before until 7 days after to report, but to report online you can only do it before your due date.

I would recommend doing it online right at the 14 day mark that way if they reject it, you have plenty of time to go in person.
