Has anyone in here had their Bangkok bank account unfrozen yet? All
My friends and I provided all the paperwork but nobody can access their account.

TLDR : Answer Summary
Many expats are experiencing issues with their Bangkok Bank accounts being frozen, with no clear timeline for resolution. Despite initial reports of quick unlocks, recent experiences indicate that further checks by the bank's head office may significantly delay access to funds. Some users suggest filing formal complaints through consumer rights channels, while others recommend switching to different banks. Discussions also touch on potential new requirements for maintaining accounts associated with retirement visas.

Just spoke with the ma of bangkok bank in khon kaen where my account is frozen she told me future bank accounts for a retirement visa will require your retirement information at your retiring age 67 in Australia don't know if this is right but wouldn't surprise me

Mine was frozen for a day. I changed my passport to a new one two days ago in a province that I do not have an account in. Info went to the head office in Bangkok.

Make a formal banking consumer rights complaint here.

Even if it goes nowhere it is inconvenient for them, the same way they are inconveniencing us.
The OCPB only deals with substantiated complaints. If the bank is simply exercising its rights under the Terms And Conditions which EVERYBODY agreed to and signed, the complaint will go nowhere. Anyone who used an agent to either open their account or use the dodgy 800k funds transfer method will simply have to wait their turn until investigations are concluded.
They now ask you to actually get your visa renewed, like if you leave the country when your visa is over, they will block your account and you have to prove that you got a new one, which is not dictated by Thai law, or by their vague and abusive terms and conditions.
I am pretty sure they are doing this only because they know the foreigners whose accounts have been frozen won’t bother to make a legal complaint.
The fact that they are the only bank doing this shows what a bunch of tools they are. Kbank only asked me 4 months in advance to get a phone number registered in my name and visit the branch. I came back to Thailand on a visa exemption and went there with the AIS receipt. They took my passpoet and receipt, amd later told me I can keep using the mobile app.
Leaving thousands of people who commited no crime without access to their money is an abuse that only a cretinous person could justify. My hope is that expats realize this and teach them a lesson by moving their money to other banks
it really is quite buzzard, even by Thai ways of doing things. I have nit had to renew my visa but am still waiting. I was assured a decision would be reached by yesterday.

Yes initial reports things were being unlocked quickly, but now perhaps head office are making further checks, its now taking weeks.
Ah that’s me. On 16 July, BB unlocked my BB app same day after 5pm. But on 19 Aug, BB locked my BB account and app. Went to the BB branch where I first opened the account on 25 Aug to submit my documents again and after 6hrs in the queue, they told me it would unlock in 7-10 days.
