Noted on your viewpoint but I believe differently. I believe BB broadly froze many accounts due to the BB branch in Pattaya which was caught by authorities allowing Chinese national tourists to open new accounts. Let me find the article link.

Yes but I think BB enthusiastically froze many accounts held by foreigners too 😅

My BB account got unlocked on the 12th day. I opened 2 other new bank accounts to protect myself.

Expect 1-2 weeks. The bank staff told me 7-10 days. But I overheard another staff say 1-2 weeks.

Ah that’s me. On 16 July, BB unlocked my BB app same day after 5pm. But on 19 Aug, BB locked my BB account and app. Went to the BB branch where I first opened the account on 25 Aug to submit my documents again and after 6hrs in the queue, they told me it would unlock in 7-10 days.

I was at Bangkok Bank yesterday at the branch where I opened my account to unlock my account. The bank staff told me to wait 7-10 business days. But I also overheard another bank staff telling another customer 1-2 weeks. Who really knows 🤷🏻‍♂️
