I have done border bounces where I have departed the plane, went through immigration, departed the arrival terminal walked to the departure terminal and checked in for a flight back to DMK all within 5 hours of landing, it was a day trip for me....I could have done a shorter border bounce but I planned for anything that could delay me (Immigration Queues, check in Queues, planes being late etc)

Malaysia is the easiest and cheapest, Vietnam depending on what passport you hold you will have to buy a visa so that increases the cost, Laos and Cambodia you will have to buy a visa so this increases the price ...other good ones are HK and Singapore

but still its bad advice to give advice on how to illegally game the system
Jeremy ********
@Bob *********
very bad advice…you’re not allowed to work on those visas
Jeremy ********
The only one you can get really that you can officially work on is the LTR visas… most visas you cannot work on legally, if caught working on a visa you are not allowed to work on will cause punitive action against you…visas you cannot work on are the 6 month METV, 60 day SETV, Ed visa etc….

it can be extended for 30 days at a cost of ฿1,900 baht at your local immigration office…this can be done on every 30 day visa waiver stamp until the I/O tells you it can’t
Jeremy ********
It’s a ฿10,000 fine to the landlord if they don’t report you, let them know this for you if you don’t have the tm30 and miss your 90 day reporting it’s ฿2,000 fine for you…

Yes you can enter on the 30 day visa exempt stamp and you can also extend it for 30 days at a cost of ฿1,900 at your local immigration office….

yes you can apply for a tourist visa if in Thailand the easiest one to get in the general vicinity of SEAsia is the 60 day SETV which can be extended for 30 days fir ฿1,900 at your local immigration office for a total of 90 days in country….

for the 30 day visa exempt stamp you can do a border bounce to Malaysia,

There is no official limit on the amount of Air Arrivals one can do, and you can extend every one at your local immigration office for ฿1,900. A caveat on this is that eventually you will be questioned by an overzealous immigration officer
