How do I correctly book a SHA Plus hotel for my Thai Pass application?

I have just figured this out from my thai pAss being rejected…you have to contact the hotel you want to go to for the SHA Plus package you can’t book it through an app (Expedia, agoda, booking, etc)

I hope this helps people out…would be nice if the thaipass system to share this on their website

Booked a BKK Test & Go package with Agoda. But in my TP application I used a screenshot of the confirmation email from the hotel which states package including transfer and PCR test etc. This email contained a different booking reference. The hotel’s reference is the one required. I received QR code within 15 minutes. .

 not yet, couple more weeks before I fly to BKK.

It’s just one night, so not overly concerned. I just wanted a room with a balcony. 👍😄

 but can you get the needed test had go package through the app? Look at this now tell where the test and go package is…I didn’t know all I knew was that it was a SHA+ hotel

 Just booked the Novotel in Bangkok 4500 baht, collected at the airport and PCR test at the Hotel!

Don't use the Agoda booking confirmation document for Thailand Pass, get a booking confirmation document direct from the hotel to upload.

 yes you can…but you might not get the SHA plus service That is needed for the thaipass website…I found out the hard way

 they tell you once you put in the right email Acct…I was using outlook but they can’t send to that for some reason I switched to gmail and I received review updates…

 vlieg je op BKK dan is de test pas in het hotel dus de kans is klein dat je die dag de uitslag hebt. Verplicht in de kamer te blijven, je kan er trouwens niet uit want je krijgt geen sleutel.

 but it only takes 6-8 hours to get the results back…so depending on your time of arrival to the hotel it might be skeet time

I booked mine through agoda for the payment, You contact the hotel after for the confirmation paper tp send to thai pass that is the correct way

 I know they are advantageous about squeezing every last baht they can out of us, but I in no way think they are trying to manipulate the situation because he didn’t book directly.

 I went through Agoda that specifically showed me “test and go” able hotels, I can imagine it’s quite confusing having different options

 SHA+ is just a hygiene and cleanliness certification - it doesn't necessarily mean that the hotel offers the Test & Go package. Take a look at the photo below showing all of the inclusions for the package. If you only book a room without that package, it won't be accepted - and that's true whether you use an OTA or the hotel's own website. The issue with the property you booked may be that they chose not to offer their Test & Go package on OTAs, which is why you didn't see it.

If the booking apps have test and go listings, you book and pay then contact the hotel to get your SHABA receipt.

Should the hotel be sha+,sha or AQ for test&go? I'm reading different advice. In one post it said select AQ at the start and not test&go! If that is so it would follow that an AQ hotel would suffice.

 I booked mine via agoda and it was approved. Had to make sure it had the quarantine package listed and booked and then i got confirmation from the hotel which is what i provided on the pass application. Mine was a AQ hotel booking

 I called the hotel then I had a thai call the hotel to make sure there was no loss in translation and both times stated you had to use the hotel website
