This explains the Thai PASS system in a way more easy to understand way than the PowerPoint flow chart that only geniuses could decipher

Answer summary

The post provides a simplified explanation of the Thai PASS system, contrasting it with a complex PowerPoint flowchart. It also includes comments discussing the processing time of the service (3-4 weeks) and the associated fee of $200, as well as concerns about the reliability of the information presented in the article.

There are a number of assumptions in that article about things that have not been confirmed yet. It’s really not a reliable site.

Yes, if its correct. Some of the things they say are a guess on their part so I really wouldn’t rely on it. A lot of the information on this site is often out of date or just plain wrong.

Yes, hopefully more things will be confirmed after tomorrow’s meeting - though it might then go to Cabinet on Tuesday. It’s beginning to shape up, at least.

The first 2 sections of Who Can Apply are assumptions on their part.

None of the low risk countries are confirmed. Yes, the PM mentioned 5 but there’s no guarantee they’ll be on the list.

Also, they are assuming that 7 nights in SHA+ hotel will be required for all new ‘sandboxes’. We don’t know that yet either.

Finally, they say all countries not on low risk list will be allowed in new sandboxes but CCSA has already said it will be Medium Risk list only.

I could go on about other sections of their site but, frankly, I can’t be bothered. There’s been inaccurate information on this site for years.
