TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion reflects mixed sentiments regarding the Thailand Pass system, with participants voicing complaints about its complications and increased travel costs, especially related to COVID-19 testing and insurance. Some express hope for better regulations and easier entry for vaccinated individuals, while frustration about the current requirements is evident. There is also an ongoing urge for officials to ease travel restrictions as the holiday season approaches.

With all the complaining ....why do you not go to another country for a holiday?

the problem if they fix it and it's good, they won't want to drop all the requirements. Best it's broken maybe so they just let everyone in

Lol they are not listening the cost of flying has gone up at less 50% insurance covid-19 test . I used to fly Singapore Airlines from Perth Australia to Thailand the average cost was 850 Australian dollars I think if I can get away with under 1700 that's a bargain and it's not even High season.

the airlines have returned 80% of their airport slots until at least next year. That's not something they can just undo. There will be limited seats for the foreseeable future, and supply and demand dictates pricing.

it's the cost of the insurance and the C19 test people are not thinking about .

A solution in search of a problem. No purpose of the Thailand pass imaginable if you still have to print out and show the required documents anyway.
