The good: curfew is over on 01 Nov…the bad: you still can’t get alcohol at establishments

TLDR : Answer Summary
As of November 1, the curfew in Thailand is set to be lifted. However, there are still discussions about the availability of alcohol in establishments, with some commenters expressing confusion. While some regions like Phuket seem to allow alcohol sales, others believe this restriction continues, raising questions about inconsistent policies across provinces. Comments reflect a mix of humor and frustration regarding the situation.

This is incorrect. Seems someone has mixed the list of places that will officially 'reopen' to foreign travelers with a list of places that had a curfew which will be lifted.

Completely wrong and nonsensical information results.

It's not uncommon for Bangkok-based journalists and government workers to end up in a little bubble of their own, and completely lose sight of the fact that Thailand is bigger than Bangkok.
