I want to live in Thailand long-term. I have a UK passport and plan on securing a remote job based in the UK before moving to Thailand. What type of visa do I need for this? I've heard that doing too many border runs can get you flagged. What are the alternatives?

Hi all. Recently purchased a house in Phuket. I’m currently back in the UK to sort a few things out, I intend to return to Thailand in November and stay permanently. I’m over 60 and receive a modest pension I also have over 800,000 in a Thai bank what do you advise for a visa? Is it better to apply before I go or when I’m there? TIA

Hi guys, I am planning on living in Thailand 8/9 months a year and I'm 66. Is a Retirement viaa or multiple entry best gor me. I'm guessing Retirement and extensions is the way to go. But thought to ask before I apply. I'm applying from Ireland.

Secondly, I am encountering some delay with documents - if my visa is not received before I travel to Thailand, can I enter on a 30day visa exermpt and then go to Immigration when visa arrives to get stamp in passport?

Hi, looking to move my family to Bangkok. Any expats with a Long Term Resident Visa? Would really like to know the approval rate and if its worth forking out so much money. I have no criminal record, debt, loans or anything of the sort that could (in my perspective) hinder me from getting approved. Any advice?
