My application non immigrant O. has been sat at pending approval for almost a week after having resubmitted evidence of funds at their request. My first submission screenshots of wage slips not sufficient. Worried that having transferred from one of my accts £10k on the day of resubmitting and providing bank statement was also not acceptable? Hope I am over worrying. No one answers the phone there in London Embassy, spent hours ,I have sent email too. Do I need to re apply? I would expect the ‘rejected’ to be highlighted in that event.

Anyone!

So I got my 90 day non-o (marriage) single entry visa in England, waited 6 weeks in Thailand, applied for and recently got my 1 year extension (first time doing here), got my multi-entry permit and am good until October 2026.

Looking to next year extension I will have 9 months left in my passport when the extension ends. What are the options as I would need 12 months to do another extension? I heard visas can't be used once your passport is renewed.

If I go to UK and renew my passport October 2026, I would have to get another 90 day single entry visa in UK, wait 6 weeks in Thailand to apply for 1 year extension again, then wait 30 days again for processing? Or because I've had already done an extension in Thailand, would the processing time be less even though it's a new passport and new visa.

Can someone clarify the options, if any?

Can someone confirm whether or not the following email that I recieved from a Thai visa agent is true:?

*"It is an option whether you choose to show your savings of 800,000 THB or a monthly income of 65,000 THB. You only need to meet one of these requirements, not both."*

*"For American citizens, the only option is to deposit 800,000 THB, as the Royal Thai Embassy in your country no longer provides income certification, and the U.S. Embassy in Bangkok does not verify income either."*

So, they're saying the monthly deposit of 65,000 THB does not apply to American citizens.

Thank you.

Follow up to my post from 2 September. A few months ago Tod advised me "You could go to a Thai consulate in a nearby country and get a 90 day Non-O visa based on being the father of a thai child by using the birth certificate, the mothers i/d and house book and showing 400K baht in a thai bank account in your name only (or the equivalent in an account in your country)". Would it be possible to do this when my original 90-day Non-Imm 'B' is ready to expire on 24 Sept? I am not yet legally married to my child's mother but we all live together. If this is possible, what about Section 4 of the Supporting Documents section on the e-visa application for Vientiane Thai Consulate where it states: "Financial evidence showing monthly income of no less than 40,000 THB or having the current balance of 400,000 THB (e.g., bank statements for the last three months, sponsor letter)"? I would be able to show 400,000THB when I submit the e-visa application, but not in my bank for the last three months of bank statements. Has anyone had recent success in getting a 90-day Non-Imm O visa for a Thai child dependant, and did they have to show 400,000THB in their bank for 3 months up to the date they applied, or just in their account at the time they applied, particularly related to Vientiane Thai Consulate? Many thanks!

Good morning.

I am a extending visa nonO ( based on marriage to Thai husband)after moving to new location. Previously at Nonthaburi immigration, now it is Chaengwattana.

Do I need to bring the documents from my previous extension at Nonthaburi.

Asking the question, because this was a requirement for my first extension at Nonthaburi.

I understand each immigration office is different in it's requirements. Handouts do not mention this.

If no one knows, I shall bring all documents so that will be covered.

Thank you.

Hi,

I am a new member, Swedish, and have lived full time for 8 years. Have Non-O at the bottom and 1-year extension built on Spouse.

Next year the Swedish Embassy will stop making Income Certificates which I understand many other countries have already stopped.

Now my questions:

Is there a "Monthly Income Method", i.e. showing bank statements from the bank 12 months ago with more than 40,000 baht/month instead of 400,000 baht at an account?

Could there be different rules for different provinces? I live in Rayong.

Hi everyone🌼, just an update – I’m resubmitting my Thai Non-O visa application. I reached again the part with the ‘Middle Name’. Applicant Information shows in red.

1. Is it normal that it shows in red?

2.I don’t have a middle name – what should I write?

This was the reason my last application was cancelled, and I don’t want to make the same mistake again.

Thanks a lot for your help! 🙏

Hey guys! I have a question. I hope it doesn't come across as confusing to you as it is in my head: I placed my dad in VivoCare, a dementia care facility, here in Thailand at the beginning of February. He's an 82 yo Army vet with a full pension and disability. Once at VivoCare, they helped him open up a bank account with Bangkok bank with 800,000 baht that I provided. That month, I started sending 70,000 baht into the bank account via Wise from his US bank account every month, and will continue as long as he's there.

They keep telling me that after his visa (not LTV) gets approved tomorrow at immigration, I must continue to deposit 70,000 baht into his BBK account every month (which I knew), but that I can withdraw the 800,000 baht or spend it on his monthly rent at the facility. That makes me nervous: Can I draw the 800,000 down entirely? Or does at least 400,000 baht need to stay in that account? What about the thing where 800,000 (400,000?) needs to stay in the account 3 months after approval? Or is that a different visa route?

I'm trying to figure out what Visa he's getting. But more importantly, I don't want to draw the money too far down below the 400,000 baht or draw it too soon if it'll mess him up.

Please explain it to me because I keep asking them and they keep saying I can, but his immigration money isn't something I want to play with.

Hi

Myself and my wife both over 50 retired and both uk citizens looking who intend to apply for a Thai non -o visa , should we apply jointly or individually ?

If we applied together can we have a joint bank account like we do in the uk?

As I understand it if we apply individually we would both need to deposit 800 k in an account which we could do but looking for advice as to what’s easiest route to go .

Thanks in advance
