Hi, looking to move my family to Bangkok. Any expats with a Long Term Resident Visa? Would really like to know the approval rate and if its worth forking out so much money. I have no criminal record, debt, loans or anything of the sort that could (in my perspective) hinder me from getting approved. Any advice?

We are in the process of setting up a company, but the figures and steps being put forward are varying in terms of monthly tax rates and visa extension costs. Does anyone have the official setup costs?

So far the costs are coming back as

18k and 30k for company registration

23k for work permit

25k for 12 month visa after 3 months

2k / month on tax

Nothing on 90 day extensions
