Wise is far better. Transferring funds from your bank to Wise is free. Conversion to baht is very cheap. Payment into a Thai bank account only ฿44.70. That’s much cheaper!

I think that’s something to do with your girlfriend’s account. I have sent 60k less than 2 years ago without any problem.

Wise advised me that the limit is 2 million for Bangkok Bank and Kasikorn. Which bank are you transferring money into?
