Friendly reminder, check your stamp when entering Thailand. I completed my first visa run and they only gave me 60 days. I went to immigration the next morning and was told it would take 2-3 days to fix. They sent me to immigration at the airport for faster service. So, I did that and it was resolved in 20 minutes. So save the trouble, and look at the stamp before walking away from the immigration officer when entering Thailand.
Full disclosure, I didn't present my printed visa to the officer because I know he can see the visa on the computer when he scans my passport. He just didn't notice it on the computer. Lesson learned for me.
*Chang Mai immigration offices question*- are all immigration offices allowed to give all services? trying to get a letter from immigration to bank stating "its ok to open bank account for "non o" holder" and get confusing responses. please advice. thank you.
Just new to this so don't shoot me down if this has already been answered multiple times! But where is the best place to find out which organisation can be used for a soft power visa? Thanks
I'm arriving in October, leaving in December, from the UK.. A total of 58 days, visiting my wife and daughter. I've previously got the 90 visas as I've stayed longer. (My last 3 passport entries.)
Going onto the evisa website the options are for 60+ days. Im visiting immigration after I arrive to get my house book sorted, to open a bank account.
Am I ok to arrive on the 60 day visa exemption? Technically I'm not a tourist, but visiting family.
Can I put 2 sources of income stream on application? I work remotely for a UK based company for 3 years now, but the contract only states zero hr contract and casual worker. I also work on an online teaching site as a freelancer, don't really earn anything but does show I have some income. I was wondering if I could, or should show both. I have payslips for the zero hr contract work, and a profile and earnings spreadsheet generated by online platform job.
