 I had the same experience. Waiting nearly two hours at the gate, no heating, minimal facilities. I had departed from LAX so I wasn’t wearing a jacket and didn’t think I would need one.

Nothing to do with human rights. Thailand gets to choose who can enter. Are the borders open to the world in your country?

Also, if you’ve been twice to Thailand in a year, you may still enter again on a visa exemption. But, you mustn’t exceed 180 days in that year.
