I just bought my ticket for arrival in July. proximately 90 days. I was wondering if I could pay for the extension now online.

I am concerned that they may actually cut back the 60+30. And one would think anyone buying the ticket before the change would be safe but nothing is guaranteed.

Thoughts and helpful advice would be nice.

The qualification for a METV visa is ฿200,000 in an account six months prior to arrival, my question is, can it be a joint account?

Making this post because your post got flagged as spam and I cannot deny it with comments when it is marked as spam. Cannot publish because of the video you attached.

You wrote: "Can anyone confirm if the video below is authentic?

It states that from November 13 last year, 2025 anybody without a long-term Visa can only stay a maximum of 90 days in Thailand, in any 12 month period .

I want to know specifically if this affects the METV Visa, as I have just obtain this and wish to use it for Multiple entries and stay in Thailand for up to 5 months.

I am an Australian passport holder."

The new guidelines are for people entering visa exempt, without a visa. There is no 90-day limit for anyone. Immigration are just keeping a closer eye on people who are abusing the system and trying to live in Thailand without a long-term visa.

You will be fine for 5 months, especially if you have an METV.

After reading some post where people got questioned I got waved through without being asked anything.

My history was a longer overstay back during Covid and plenty of tourist visa before getting the DTV.

Can someone please recommend Muay Thai schools that provide documents for DTV? What price can I expect? Is it required to have a 6-month training course? Thank you!

METV VISA For Thailand in Laos process. 🫡

I got myself METV VISA, APPROVED today. It is electronic, 20k show at airport, 5k application fee, 24-48 hour approval. All uploaded documnets must be clear, shows your name with your finances. Financial proof will have to be in collage format.

Print out your payment paperwork (Very important/ will have barcode. Show at payment counter). You *MUST* have Thai Baht. You *WILL* get turned away from counter and must re enter line without the print out. Your phone evidence won't suffice. Your approval letter with barcode is your electronic vis passport.

Your approval letter will more than likely come between 9 and 11 a.m. lol perfect time for a extended day if you miss the email before checkout time. So book hotel a day short. Important they switched everything electronically. You won't need to go back to the counter to get any stamps, pay extra fees or anything. I know gpt says to, but it's false. Print out your approval letter and that barcode is what immigration will scan. I will update if they can scan the code on the phone.
