legally NO when entering Thailand as Visa Exempt Entry. BUT... don't do any business with those in Thailand and stay under the radar.

Just how long will you be staying in Thailand?

Why the need for the DTV visa?

Your post implies 60 days.

???

Thank You for your helpful report 👍

Congratulations 👏👏👏

PRINT OUT THE EMAIL THAT HAS YOUR DTV VISA.

That's what you should do... print it out.

You may have to show PROOF of your DTV Visa to airline staff on check-in for your flight ✈️ to Thailand...even to the connecting airline staff. Or to the land border crossing entry Thai Immigration Officer.

Upon arrival into Thailand, show the DTV visa to the Thai Immigration Officer and look at the STAMP placed in your passport to be sure you are STAMPED in for 180 days.

Yes under the Evisa online application system. HCMC just issued one. To our surprise on this Thai Visa Advice forum.

@Graham *****
in the past we have seen it possible for a Westerner to obtain the METV multiple entry Tourist Visa in Australia. AND in fact, Ho Chi Minh City Thai Embassy just issued a METV to a visitor in Vietnam.

"they did indeed get a 6 month METV for someone thru HCMC without that person living long term in vietnam "

Check with your local Thai Immigration office for their requirements for the guardian visa.

The link above is helpful BUT not from an official Thai Foreign Ministry or Immigration website.
