I'm confused first you say you are a refugee in Germany. Then in a later comment you say you are in Iran. If there is a Thai Embassy in Iran you need to go to their website and see what visa you qualify for.

No need to use an agent. The form is easy to fill out and then just mail it to the Counsulate with the required documents.

I agree I am referring about people who asked for like a one day or two day class. Yes I know it is a new type visa but you have to be realistic. If they want to apply then I wish them success.

but the question is what is the medical appointment for? A long term medical problem with multiple follow-ups and treatments. I seriously doubt they got a 5 year visa for a migraine or because they stubbed their toe.

You do not have to be an experienced traveler to know you won't get a five year visa for a one week course. Common sense tells me this. If anyone gets a DTV for something like that I will apologize.
