I have two questions…. First, did anyone apply for the DTV Visa from Vietnam who isn‘t from Vietnam? How was the process? Second, has anyone applied with a sponsorship letter? Thanks in advance for your answers. Really appreciate it 🙏

My DTV just got approved with in 3 day (submitted documents on Wed 7 May and got approved on Fri 9 May)

Here is what I have been submitting to the website.

Proof of location

1. Entry stamp in the passport Hanoi Vietnam

2. Confirmation of hotel booking in Hanoi

3. Selfie outside hotel sign

Proof of employment

1. Cover letter signed by the director of company

2. Employment contract

3. Business registration of company

4. Certificate of incorporation

5. Payslip 6 months

6. Resume + LinkedIn page + portfolio

7. Certificate of graduation

Bank statement of 500k baht

1. Letter explaining that my bank statement is in French so I have highlighted all the important points in here.

2. Sixth months bank statement ( they require 3 months but I want to make sure they don’t ask for more)

3. I have highlighted the monthly salary and ending balance + converted the currency to be Thai Baht for them too.

hello everyone I have a quick question I have to do my DTV boxing visa soon I would like to know if people here they have done it before do I have to go to Vietnam or Malaysia because I live in koh samui

We need to go to a neighbouring country to apply for a Non B visa… which option is best out of Laos, HK or KL? (UK nationals).

I’m planning to apply for the DTV visa and I’m considering doing it from Laos, Cambodia, or Vietnam. Does anyone know which country has the fastest processing time?

I've been stuck on "Pending Approval" since April 21st here in Hanoi. I originally submitted on the 18th (Friday afternoon) and got moved to Pending Approval on Monday, no documents check required. I'm applying for a workation visa and submitted a ton of documents so it should cover everything. I bought round-trip tickets and I'm going back to Thailand on May 14th. I've heard some conspiracy theories that the longer your stay here, the slower you'll be processed, so that might be it.

It's been about 8 working days so far, which I know isn't *super* long, but I've seen some people apply after me that have already been approved here in Hanoi. I know there might be a backlog from Songkran and there's a holiday here in Vietnam today and tomorrow. I sent consular.han@mfa.go.th an email yesterday morning with no response yet.

Anything else I can do besides just wait? Was hoping to go to Da Nang to celebrate after I get my visa but we'll see if I have time...

I am currently doing my visa in Vietnam but am coming across a small problem and I was wondering if it is something anyone has experienced also.

I have a single pdf file with 6 months bank statements on. When I send this file to others it opens nicely with all statements, however when I upload it to the embassy website it only shows the first page of the statements and I'm worried the file is not working correctly for some reason.

Has anyone experienced this at all.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Hello!!I want to ask about the payment method.

I will go to Hanoi to apply dtv next week. The problem is that I only have UnionPay card.

Does the embassy website support UnionPay card payment? Or do I need to prepare a visa card?also how much is the application fee in Vietnam?
