Flight info gets fucked up on travel docs all the time. But definitely make sure you have all your other docs handy or you will be waiting a long time to get out the airport.

TBH I wish I had waited but I’m here now and paying a lot more than I would normally. I like to live like a local but have to be a full on tourist (you even need a special taxi permitted driver to take you from the airport). But if you got the cash go for it! It might be 6 months before things are able to be loosened up.

Reach out to your hotel and get them to charge you for 14 nights and the Covid tests. Then they will give you a doc (see above) and another one that shows your reservation and they will add a line item that says three Covid tests.

Can I buy and ride a motorcycle in Thailand with an International Driving Permit if I enter as a tourist?

Safetywing and Luma will honor their motorcycle insurance if you have a legit license in your home country. My IDP doesn’t do squat for me other than peace of mind. Agree with other commenter that getting a local license is optimal - IDP is better than nothing.
