Why you not come to Cambodia ? You get retired visa when you are 55 years or older. No ask nothing papers, money or nothing. No need to go never on immigration. Just live and enjoy.

He makes an excellent point about people who will live here long term, that health insurance increases as we get older, and often covers less. This can fill the Gap or Cover up to 100%

I had many comments on my last post that Kasikorn bank was the easiest to set up account. I just left there because my wife (who has dementia and who won’t even be on the account couldn’t sign her name exactly the same on 3 documents. Again, she won’t even be on the account. Going to try SCB bank. I guess Kasikorn doesn’t want my money.
Moving to Thailand next year, but I cannot decide on where to call home. My elderly father is coming with me, so we want to be near great hospitals. Cannot decide between Changmai (burning season worries me) and the burbs of BKK. Any input?

Hi, not a visa question but hope someone may be able to help have some friends in Mai Khairul area of Phuket. Their baby has a high fever and is not eating - they wanted a good hospital which look after farang - any suggestions. Many thanks
