If you have the DTV for Thai language lessons, how long are you allowed to be out of the country? For example, if we wanted to travel somewhere in Asia for a couple of weeks, would that be allowed? I haven't found any information on this.

How many times can you come & go from Thailand if you have a retirement visa

I’m waiting for my DTV to be approved but let’s say it will be approved and in the application I’ve said I’ll arrive to BKK in end of December but now I’m in Malaysia and want to do a trip to Indonesia, can I fly to Indonesia until that date I have said I going to BKK? Is there any restrictions where I must fly from into BKK with the DTV visa? If I said I will come on end December can I also come later than that?

PTPA: Hello, I just wanted to know if there are Philippines passport holders who have the DTV visa? Is it possible for me to go home to the Philippines and then go back to Thailand? Will I have any problems?

Question about traveling on soft power DTV:

Is there a limit on being able to leave Thailand particularly during your first 6 months on the visa? Because of course you’re supposed to be taking classes but it’s multiple entry?

Can I tavel to Thailand while my Retirement Non O visa is in process in my country of residence?

I applied for the DTV with NY Consulate. I am currently pending approval. I was invited to a wedding of friends in Africa and the dates are 9/10-9/17. Am I able to travel to Africa while my visa application is still pending? I will only be gone for 1 week but I am concerned about it impacting my approval.

I was in Thailand for 90 days from Nov24-Jan25 then left for 4 months. My current 90 day visit will end in a few weeks. I will be away for 2 months and hope to return mid November. I understand that there is no definite answer if I will be allowed to return, but am wondering if anyone with similar travel patterns has been turned away.
