TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires whether their insurance, which expires in January 2022, is sufficient for re-entering Thailand with a one-year multiple entry retirement visa. They submitted their application and expressed urgency due to their imminent flight. Comments from others suggest the importance of having at least 30 days of insurance coverage and ask for clarification about the type of visa and its duration.

thanks Michael. I have about 35 days on it from entry (Dec. 5-Jan 11). You reckon that’s enough? What problem did you have?

Bought a year when i came back in July 2020 and then spent 9 months back in Singapore. I dont mind a compulsary life insurance they just have to make it a realistic figure for costs of medical treatment in Thailand.

Singapores compulsary covid insurance for entry is

US$ and medical costs there are way more than Thailand
