TM30 question on portal: what do they mean by “date of inform” and what to put. “Date of stay” seems self explanatory. But for date of inform why is there a range?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The 'date of inform' on the TM30 portal refers to the date you are officially notifying the authorities about your stay. There appears to be some confusion regarding the range offered for this date, but several commenters suggest it can often be left blank if not applicable. Additionally, for the 'stay to' field, it's recommended to leave it blank if your stay does not have a set end date, as the TM30 form will expire on the indicated date.

Dont know why its there, but pretty sure you can leave it blank. Also in the stay To field should be left blank if you havent got a defined stay, (hotels use it for booked nights). The TM30 will expire on that date.
