TLDR : Answer Summary
US citizens looking for notary services in Thailand have a few options. The US embassy can provide a list of law firms that offer notary services. Notarization is not limited by citizenship, so if you need a US notary, the embassy or an online notary service may be the best choices. For Thai notarization, any law firm can assist. Suggestions for online notary services were also shared, making it easier to notarize documents via video calls.

I have used online notary for several different reasons and they are universally accepted now.

You do a Skype or FaceTime call to verify identity. You scan and email docs and they do the same in reverse with the stamp and letter of certification. Really easy.

Notary is not citizenship dependent.

What do you need notarized?

If you need a US notary, the only place you can get one is the embassy, or use an online notary service.

If you can use a Thai notary, then any law firm can help you.
