LTR visa holders - have you done your first one year report? If I’m in and out of the country in less than 12 months at a time do I still need to do the one year? Or just the 5 year renewal?

TLDR : Answer Summary
LTR visa holders who leave Thailand before completing a full year do not need to complete the one-year reporting. If they exit the country within 12 months, each departure resets the reporting requirement, meaning they only need to report once they have been in Thailand for a continuous duration of 12 months.

No, you won’t need to report. Every time you exit the country, the one year reporting resets on your return. So if you leave once every 12 months, you never need to report.
No details yet from BOI about their plan for 5 year renewals.

If you're not in the country for 12 continuous months then you have no report to make. You only report when you've been here for 12 months without leaving.
thanks. Since there is little to zero chance I would ever do a 12 month stretch without leaving the borders can I assume that means then only hard date with an LTR is the 5 year renewal application?
