it was a Non O retirement visa!

I am not sure what happened to be honest! I thought I was about to be kicked out of Thailand after living there for 26 years, and they let me believe that for a while until, somebody else came to me saying there is a fine of baht and am I willing to pay? I said yes of course and after a lot of time and paperwork I was able to renew my Non O visa!

Don’t ask me how it worked as I don’t know! Just know to be more careful next time!

Happened to me a couple of years ago! Think overstayed by about 16 days! Went to immigration not even realising I was well past my date to extend! A lot of surprises from the immigration staff! But in the end they were very helpful, and after paying a baht fine, was given an extension and all back to normal!

Did you go to the public hospital??

Best thing you can possibly do is go over there for a couple of weeks holiday and see for yourselves! You may not even like the place!
