Good morning people, with a multiple entry visa, can I do with an expired METV visa, a further exit-entry into the country using the additional 60 days visa free granted as an Italian citizen, or do I have to necessarily return to Italy? Let me explain better ... I enter Thailand in early November and in early January I ask for my first 30 day extension (total: 90 days), After that, I would do a visa run for another 60 days and finish in early April ... Now I have another 60 days, in theory the last ones, but just before my visa expires, I leave and re-enter and get another 60 days (so far, I have always done this and have never had problems) ... At this point I usually return to my country ... but if I left again by plane, could I get another 60 days exempt from the visa with the new rule? Got an email with my DTV this morning. Unfortunately it look 1 month. Not 15 days. I would have made it applying 20 days in advance, but they had questions. I arrived in Thailand a few days ago on a 60 day VOA. It looks like I can leave Thailand at the end of the VOA and fly to another country like Cambodia then re enter on the visa, or will they give me trouble because I am not actually arriving from the USA?

Ok. Visa on arrival 60 days and I need another 60 days . What s the best way??

Immigration only get s you another 30 days.

So maybe better to Laos for 2 nights? But do I need a visa for this visarun??

Or any other country for a few days where I donot need a visa?

Does anyone have recent information on Land Visa Run to Malaysia Padang Besar or Dannok

Is overnight in Malaysia required or not?

Is there a difference in visa cost for 30 days or the new 60 days Visa exempt? or fees expected?

Is DIY (Do it yourself taxi) acceptable for same day return ??

I am on a multi entry 60 visa, I am from the Untied States. I did the initial 30 extension, that cost 5,500 baht using a service. Been here 90 days on the September 1st, so I need to leave the country and come back to start the next 60 days. They said it cost another 5,500 baht for the van to Cambodia and back. Is this the normal rate- I’m in Pattaya, this is my first time here.

Extending visa.

I have 30 days left on my 60 day visa.

I will want to extend for another 30 days.

I am now in Koh Tao, will probably go to Chiang Mai, and maybe Koh lanta.

What are my best options for either a visa run, or extension?

BOTH land borders in Chiang Rai province are requiring people stay out of thailand Chiang Saen says overnight and Chiang Khong says 2 nights out

They are saying it's an order from the immigration dept :/

Sorry to have posted sketchy info. This is the latest we have. If you're up in the Northwest of Thailand and need to bounce you should plan on being IN Lao a day or two.

At this time NO other land borders are are affected...

Hello Group, any advice to Run my visa on bus from Chiang mai, returning same day?

I am a Kiwi living here on an O-A visa coming up to its 12th month. I will be doing a border run just before it expires and receiving a second year on my return back into Thailand. My first years health insurance will expire as well so I am discussing with myself weather to purchase another 12 months worth OR flag it and apply for an O visa instead. The cost of insurance has skyrocketed ..and they can't be trusted anyway at claim time so bugger them. Another option could be the auto 60 day on arrival and extend by a month..rinse and repeat or marry my Thai sweetheart. Righto ..throw me your thoughts!

My family and I are currently in Thailand on a tourist visa (ending on 22.8)

We plan on doing a visa run and get the DTV for me and my wife.

Tried to reach out to Cambodia and Laos embassies, with no success.

Do you have recommendations on which embassy is easier to deal with? What lenght of stay should we plan for?

For the workation and follower visa, do we need to add notary stamps from our country?or translated document are enough?
