I was told by a friend of a friend that he is staying in Thailand on a Non O visa that has been extended for a yea, that he acquired said visa inside the country... Is he BSing, is this possible? I always thought that to get a visa for Thailand, one had to go and get it at an embassy or consulate outside the country. Possibly a bribe? what's the story here.

Hello! I got my Thai 60 days e-visa a few hours after entering the Country. My 30 days on arrival are almost finish. Could I do Ranong Visa run and use my e-visa to enter? 🙏

Hi group, I need some advice on student visa. I'm currently here from USA arrived Dec 7 and got 60 day extention stamp so now good until March 5. First question is there anyway to get an additional 30 days? I'd like to stay until April if possible.

Second question, I'm retirement age and could meet both the pension income(although not being deposited in thai bank yet) and 800,000 deposit requirement if I wanted to but I wanted to put that off for a while for personal reasons. Is it possible to get a student visa to learn thai language that would be good for a year and during that year I could be having my pension deposited into thai bank so I can then qualify in a year for retirement visa based on seasoning of deposits for 12 months which I'm being told is required? Would it make sense? If so who knows of least expensive but effective solution for student visa? Thank you

Hello everybody, it dazzles me with all the options so I need advice on Visa. I am dutch, turned 49 in the beginning of this year and have my own company. I am taking a sabbatical this year and I want to stay in Thailand as long as possible (no work - only relax and travel a little bit) with the possibility to go back and forward to The Netherlands if this is needed for my work/business. The Thai consulate in Essen Germany is closeby where I live and I am planning to stay in the Hua Hin area in Thailand. So what visa suits me most for this purpose. Thanks
