I arrived in Thailand on a non-O retirement visa on October 16th. On October 17th, I opened a bank account with Kasikornbank and transferred 900,000 baht to it. I'm renting an apartment; the owner submitted a TM30 form online to the immigration office. I bought a condominium on November 21st. The apartment building owner immediately completed a TM30 form for me and submitted it online to the immigration office. I'm going to the immigration office on December 18th to apply for a one-year extension. My question now is: Can I still use the immigration certificate, the TM30 form from November 21st, to apply for a one-year extension, or do I need to create a new TM30 form? And who should fill it out? Should I fill it out myself, or can the apartment building owner do it for me? Thank you very much for your help.
Please could someone advise how to apply for a new British passport, with out having to go to Bangkok as we live in Issarn. Also would you need to go to the immigration to transfere any valid extensions, from your old passport to your new one, and when would be the best time scale to apply for new passport, before your old one expires.
I just renewed my passport inside Thailand and I'll have to do my 6 month DTV visa run around January. I read on this group that whenever I enter the country, I'll need to show both new and old passport because my DTV visa is stamped in the old one. But what is the process at the departure immigration like? If anyone has experience, please let me know.
My work has finally come through with documents to make my Non B visa. I’m on a Non O now. I need tocancel my non O and leave. Returning on visa exempt. Then apply and go to KL embassy for the non B.
It’s my understanding I need to go to immigration office that issued the non O for cancelation. How long do I have to exit country once they cancel the Non O?
Once canceled can I exit then come back in same day? Just border bounce to KL or Singapore? Or is there required minimum time out of country?
I just found out that 90-day self reporting to immigrant is required for DTV. Is this the office that I have to go?
Chaengwattana Immigration Office:
The main office for 90-day reporting in Bangkok is located at the Government Complex (Building 😎, 120 Moo 3, Chaeng Watthana Road, Soi 7, Thung Song Hong, Lak Si, Bangkok 10210
For those of you who have already left or returned from Thailand to extend your 180-day visa, did they ask you for any documents at the airport besides the printed DTV Visa form?
Is it normal to get requested for another home visit after receiving extension I'm on a marriage visa got my extension 10th December and they wanted another visit last week but we were away for Christmas
I now hold 2 visas and a work permit. The visa I have been using is a business visa, the "owns 49% of the company" kind. The work permit is associated with that visa.
I now have a DTV and I intend to enter Thailand using the DTV.
I need to cancel the business visa and work permit. Is that something I can do myself? What is the procedure for that?
