As the others have stated (and I have an email from the Thai authorities), you'll need to carry both passports. It is not possible (despite what some have said) to transfer your DTV to a new passport, even if you visit the immigration centre.

If you lose your old passport, or no longer have access to it, you will need to reapply for a DTV from scratch.

Anonymous participant 385 You can't. That's not something they will do. I have this in written confirmation from the Thai authorities. You simply need to take both your new and old passports with the DTV
