Hello, I've corrected my previous message. My stay ends on March 31st, so I will renew my first year of my non-immigrant retirement visa (OA) at the beginning of March. I will submit the application myself to immigration. (I have a 12-month foreign insurance certificate from AXA, approved by the TGI list, a 12-month lease, and I have the 800k (I will pay the required documents on the day of my application before going to immigration). My passport is valid for another 8 years, and I have the TM7 form to complete, two recent photos, and the 1900 baht fee.) Am I missing any documents? Thank you.
I have been trying to apply for the non o visa for the past three days. The first day I got quite a bit of it done but when I went back today to finish it I kept getting a message that the captiva entry was incorrect. I tried about 20 different times with easy to read symbols and know it was correct but I keep getting the same ‘incorrect’ captiva message.
Has anyone else ran into this problem. Any intelligent ideas would be appreciated.
My Filipina fiancée is preparing to apply for ED Visa while in Thailand and plans to go to either Manila or Cebu to acquire the ED Visa. We are following the steps on the Gvt Website and will submit an application Online in the next few days, then ounce all the required paperwork are received, plan to travel to either Cebu or Manila to acquire the ED Visa on the 1st of February.
Although we both searched extensively, we could Not find any reviews that would help us get a feel on the level of service that can be expected from either of the Embassies and definite timelines on how many days it takes to get the ED Visa once we are in the Philippines. Any insight from those in the know would be greatly appreciated and if there is a spot to check on processing timelines for ED Visa in Manila and Cebu would be great also.
My DTV visa was approved but my passport is almost full. I know it’s just a printed piece of paper but what happens when I get a new passport and passport number?
I am applying for DTV but I have been using 2 different accounts in the same bank. One for receiving salary (I dont touch the money in it), and the other one is daily interest account that I am able to spend money in it anytime, which I use my daily spending from. This is an interest account but i am able to use the money (Almost all the money goes to interest on 5pm and comes back with the interest on 2am, everyday). The total amount of 2 accounts is a bit higher than the requested 500k baht. May I show the both accounts' trancastions to prove the money requirement? Also I am able to receive a document from my bank showing the total amount in the bank, including all of my accounts in the bank. So in this case, I have to show the embassy 3 different documents: (1) the salary account's transactions, (2) the daily (interest) account transactions, and (3) the total money proof in the bank.. I am hoping this doesn't make the embassy staff confused. 😀
Does anyone know if I can apply for my wife's dependent DTV visa while in we are in Thailand? I have heard of someone doing it recently but I'm not sure if it's possible.
More of a nervous post. I'm going tomorrow for my non O marriage under consideration stamp. I've never heard of it and I've never been denied before. But what if it is denied? Do you just refile the paperwork? Or have to do a border run?
Someone told me they don't deny these for the marriage visas. Unless it's like a blatantly fake marriage or something.
