Ok I have a question. I'm on a non-o retirement Visa and I left Thailand in June and came back on June 11th. Now I went to immigration because my non o Visa was expiring on August 11th of this year. I renewed it on the 15th of July. Now it says I have a Visa good till August 11th 2026. When is my 90-day reporting. 90 days from June 11th when I came back in the country. 90 days from July 15th when I got the new Visa. Thanks

Please forgive the ignorance, once the 60 day plus 30 day extension is done, how long before you can return to Thailand for another 60 plus 30 day extension? Is there a certain time you need to be out the country for?

Just to address a common question here. Here's the response from the Thai authorities to this question.

"If your current passport with your visa has expired, you must carry both your old passport (containing the valid visa) and your new passport whenever you travel to Thailand. Immigration officers will refer to your visa on your old passport when processing your entry and stamp your new passport accordingly. In the event that you lose the old passport containing the visa, you will be required to apply for a new visa without exception. Please note that we are unable to transfer a visa from an old passport to a new one."

Hi all... asking for a friend: Their Non Imm retirement visa with multiple re-entry is expiring in a little less than 90 days. Is it too late to deposit 800K himself? (agent provided previously). If too late to do himself, can any one recommend an agent charging "reasonable" price to handle renewal and 800K in BKK? Pattaya or Chiang Mai are possible if necessary or if significantly less expensive.? Thanks for any helpful info!

After lots of reasearch and not many results I thought I would come on here and ask about the DTV visa run.

I currently have an injury in my back so want to do the most "back friendly" option to renew my dtv visa... I hear we can return same day... so Im looking for a sleeper bus really...

Does anyone know of a same day (Or travel overnight) visa run service with comfy sleeper chairs... and not the coach style chair which lean back about 30 degrees theyre really uncomfortbale too I pref want something laying down. If anyone has any options please let me know :) thanks for helping!

Hello, need to renew my retirement visa end of November 2025 and I have 2 questions. I will apply in Pattay for renewal.

1. Financial part: For my current visa I opted for deposit option of 800000 baht in KB and left that amount untouched. Can I use that same money for my renewal now so I do not need bringing in another 800000?

2. Residence: For my current current I used the address and deed of my condo which I still have but I do not live there anymore and rent it out. I am staying with my Thai partner in a private house so I do not have a rental contract. Will this prevent renewal? Do I have to reside in condo? Thank you for reading this and any ideas.

I recently had my Non-O retirement visa extended, but BB’s new policy made the process extremely difficult, complicated, and costly in both time and money.

I would now like to transfer my funds from BB to another bank. Would it cause any problems if I withdraw all the money from my BB account, which I used for the visa extension, since one of the conditions requires maintaining a minimum balance of THB 400,000? Or, as long as I have THB 800,000 (THB 400,000 2 months prior to the filling date) in any Thai bank account, would that be acceptable?

In other words, for my future visa renewal, must I continue using the same bank account that I originally used for the visa application and initial renewal?

If anyone has experience to share, I would appreciate it.
