Hello wise group. I have a query about renewal.

I have exited and reentered in the first 180 days of my DTV visa. If i continue to exit and re-enter within 180 days, do I also need to renew? Do I do this manually and pay additional fees or does the visa continue until 5 years is complete, with no additional fees or requirements?

I saw this online and it's confused me a little.

TIA!

You can extend your DTV once per visit for an additional 180 days.

* To extend your DTV, you must apply at the immigration headquarters in Bangkok and pay an extension fee.

* The extension fee is either the same as the original visa fee (10,000 THB) or the usual Thai visa extension fee (1,900 THB)

Good morning guys a piece of information: if I have a thailand visa valid for 5 years 80 days a year. if I return to my country and leave thailand before 180 days then after can I return to thailand or do I have to get another thai visa?

2) if I return to thailand from my country can I stay in thailand for another 180 days before leaving or renew the thai visa (1900 baht) for another 180 days?

I write an example I stay in thailand for 110 days then I return to my country for 30 days and leave again for thailand. when I return to thailand from the date I arrived and re-entered thailand can I stay 180 days again or can I stay 180-110=70 days and after 70 days I have to renew the thai visa for another 180 days?

Hi! Question on the DTV renewal: after 180 days do we have to go to an immigration center in BKK with the same documents we used to apply the first time at our home embassies? Thanks

If I leave Thailand to renew my tourist visa, how soon am I allowed to re-enter the country and renew it without issues? Are there specific rules or timeframes I should be aware of? Be aware that I'm still not in Thailand, therefore I'm planning to move within a few months with Regular tourist visa. Thank you for any information.

Hi everyone, this group has always given good information in the past,

I'm wondering what's the best way to approach my visa renewal:

One-year student visa (university) which expires early January, I'm due for a 90-day report around December 16 anyway

I plan on going on vacation within Thailand from December 18th until a few days after my visa expires (and I assume the guesthouse will

When I come back to Bangkok, I plan on moving to a different apartment.

My plan was to try and get a rental contract in December for January, and go to immigration December 16 to extend my visa and do the report at the same time

However I'm not sure if that works since I won't be in the tm07 system for my new apartment yet and will be registered somewhere else for two and a half weeks after.

Is there a better option? Go to the immigration office where I will be spending my semester break, despite not living there?

Thank you.

Hi, just a note for members, I went to re new my Non-O at CW with all the standard proofs as usual. I was using the 400k option as per every year. However, this year they asked me where the money had come from, and wanted to see the transactions. (I keep the money in my wife's savings account when not using it) Luckily, we just printed out the transfer from my wife's bank. I'm not sure why they asked but maybe something to do with the new tax laws but it's not an official requirement, so just to make a note for the future!
