TLDR : Answer Summary
The fine for not submitting a 90-day report in Thailand is typically around 2,000 THB, even if you miss the deadline multiple times, but it can increase to 5,000 THB if you are stopped by police for any reason. You can avoid going in person as someone can submit the report on your behalf, or it can be done by post.

Says the numpty who is telling people the maximum fine is 2000. 🤣 Oh youve only got 180 days in the country. So tell me how you can miss it 10 times. 🤣
You can be arrested and deported... A random police check and that can happen to you. And the penalty is up to immigration; check the law. If you're planning not reporting once within the next 5 years, they will see it and they definitely can decide to do so... They don't need to catch you 3 times before. Deportation is valid for any repeated offense; it's not only about the 90 days report, it's for any immigration rule.

Anonymous participant 615 I did check the law. Maximum penalty 5,000
You need to check the rules on deportation... Not only the ones about 90 days. Deportation can be decided for repeated violations over multiple years that create a pattern of non-compliance... That's a general law that covers any offense and immigration related issues. It's certainly not common but possible; most likely if you get into troubles for any other reason (willingly or not). In Thailand you're fine until you get caught for something, they will then try to find whatever to charge you at the maximum.

Anonymous participant 615 yes, it's about money. Civil offense. Not criminal. Is it possible you could be deported? Anything is possible, anywhere. Has it ever happened. Highly unlikely. But happy to see evidence to the contrary.
, i've never heard of police officers checking to see if you've submitted the 90-day notification during a check. But, since T.I.T. is a law, never say never.
I wasn't saying they would stop anyone to check if the 90 day report was done, however if they stop someone for something else they can and do check if the 90 day report has been done if required. If not that's where the 5,000 comes in
, in 19 years, they've only asked me for my passport once, and I voluntarily hand it over along with my driver's license at every checkpoint. But no police officer, high-ranking or otherwise, in Pattaya, Bangkok, Chaiyaphum, or Surin, has ever taken an interest in my 90 days. It should be noted that the fine isn't necessarily 5,000 baht, but 5,000 baht is the maximum amount you could be fined.
Deportation can be decided for repeated violations over multiple years that create a pattern of non-compliance... Not reporting for 5 years could be considered as multiple violations. I'm not saying it's common, but if you have other issues (whether you're wrong or not) at the same time, they will love to use it.

The question is: What's your excuse for not doing it and for not following your very basic visa requirements? It's a very easy process if you're organized.

Anonymous participant 615 it's annoying, inconvenient and takes half of your day
you've never broken any law ever in your life? Did you always fully stop at a stop sign? Never exceed the speed limit on the road? Stop judging others for behavior that the government only penalizes mildly for.
so if my breaking of the law is disgusting, it means your breaking of laws is also disgusting? We're all disgusting because no one follows all the laws all the time
There are a lot of things you have to pay attention on when you are driving, when you miss one of the things it is an accident, you cannot sya that is intentional, but you don't seem to get this simple logic.
That has nothing to do with being blind or not, accidents happen, In your opinion an accident cannot occur because when it occurs you did not pay attention, ridiculous.
But I don't spill anymore time on you strange opinions.
