Hi everyone, I’m applying for the DTV via the London Embassy. I uploaded my application last night and received this email this morning.
As you can see the Embassy has requested a bunch more documents, some are self explanatory and I've already completed such as a new photo which is different from my passport photo, and the two consent letters introducing myself and stating I will remain in the UK (I did already do both of these in my initial application as I saw others on the group were requested for these but they've asked me to do it again)
1. Where I need advice on firstly is the printed & stamped bank statements. I visited my bank (TSB) and when I requested stamped statements I was told by all the staff I spoke to that they haven't stamped statements in years and it's not something they do anymore. And even if they printed the statements, the statement would look the exact same as the PDF's of each statement I uploaded in my initial application. What did anyone else who had this issue do to move forward with their application? Should I write a letter stating I visited the bank and they told me they don't do stamped statements or provide anything else other than what I have already uploaded to my application?
2. Also, for a new freelancer (2 months in), what did you provide for the "HMRC Tax Calculation" if you haven't filed a return yet? Is a self registration letter enough?
3. And finally, for the monthly income transactions and the payslips. I already stated in my cover letter prior to my portfolio that I have just started working 2 months ago hence why I cannot show proof of income that is accurate but however did provide proof of my profiles on both my teaching platforms and lessons with students. I have not been paid yet by one of the platforms and have not cashed out from the other platform so what could I provide to suffice both of these requested documents?
I’m applying through London embassy on 20th March. Rules/requirements seem to change rapidly so does anyone with a recent successful application through London embassy have any hints, tips or surprises? Had to book my return flight for April 11th so no time for Requests For More Information etc. Thanks! x
Just been accepted for my DTV visa London Embassy with using A and S services, made it such an easy process for me so thank you guys! Even working on my application whilst they are away in Malaysia, answering messages and questions any time I needed🙏🏾
Anyone have any recent experience of DTV processing times submitted online via the London embassy. I’m aiming to submit all and some extra supporting documents perfectly
Hi, I’ve applied for the DTV visa (London embassy) and they’ve asked for an updated employment confirmation letter. My company is fully remote and HR signed the letter.
Is that usually enough, or should I also provide my manager’s contact details? Has anyone had their employer contacted by the embassy?
Hi, I am in the middle of applying for my DTV on the Thai E Visa website (London Embassy) and I'm having difficulty uploading documents via the "supporting documents" section (3,4 and 5). I have various items to upload (proof of funds, income, contract, employers letter etc etc) to upload under each section, however, it will only allow me to upload 1 per section. My question - Is there any way to be able to upload multiple documents under each section? Thanks in advance
Hello all, I am in the process of applying for the DTV and would love to know peoples experience with House of Taste Thai Cooking School. I am specifically looking at the 6 month course and applying from the London Embassy. Thanks :)
Been having a nightmare my son works of shore and had an appointment at London embassy tomorrow, obviously he can’t go cos he is working on oil rig in Jakarta. So he gave me all his documents and asked me to ring and cancel his booking and rearrange it wat sounds quite simple , but no , no one answers phone managed to get threw once and was told he has to do it on line he has emailed but no one got back to him , he has already paid his £300 so he looks like he will loose it . That embassy so frustrating no one answers the phone was ring yesterday from 9 in morning🙄
